Dates to Waive for the Spring Semester:
November 6, 2006 through January 12, 2007

Beginning Fall 2006, North Carolina A&T State University required all Undergraduate Students and Graduate or Professional Students, taking 6 or more credit hours, and all International Students, to have medical insurance coverage as a condition of enrollment.

If you have health insurance coverage either on your own, through your parents, or a spouse then you may submit your proof of insurance and waive the Student Health Insurance Plan. Just remember to submit your insurance waiver prior to the waiver deadline, January 12, 2007. All you need to do is visit http://www.studentinsurance.com and waive the coverage online. Enter your student data along with your current insurance information and submit. Be sure you print your confirmation page and keep it for your records. This will serve as your receipt and is proof that you complied with the university’s requirement. Adjustments will NOT be made after the deadline if you DO NOT have your confirmation page or confirmation number.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL BE ENROLLED IN THE UNIVERSITY HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN IF YOU FAIL TO APPROPRIATELY WAIVE COVERAGE BY THE DEADLINE.
